Wulftec Banner Applicator
ANOTHER INNOVATIVE IDEA FROM WULFTEC
Introducing the new WCW - Wulftec’s Automatic Banner Applicator
As a result of a joint effort with our sister company, Mega of Italy, we are proud to introduce our NEW Automatic Banner Applicator System. This system is designed to apply a printed banner that can display your company logo or a message around the perimeter of the load.
Designed with versatility and reliability in mind, the Wulftec Automatic Banner Applicator helps customers get more name recognition. Because it is a “Stand Alone System”, the Banner Applicator can be installed above any conveyor line, before or after a Stretch Wrapper or Strapper unit, it can also be retrofitted on any existing line.
Attached are images of one of our recent applications, where we combined our new Banner Applicator System with our Strapping Machine.
• Ideal for ALL industries, especially the Brick, Block, Paver, and Building Material Industry
• Can replace printed top sheets which can bunch up… making the logo or message unreadable
• Accommodates a wide variety of stretch film or other material
• Accommodates different banner widths
WCW Wulftec Banner Applicator includes:
• Portal size to allow a maximum load size of 48” wide x 60” high
• Dual film carriages with mechanical film tensioning
• Adjustable film tension control
• Adjustable film seal weld time for optimum seal adjustment
• Allen Bradley PLC with PanelView PLUS touch screen for easy to understand, easy to use interface
• NEMA 4/12 control cabinet with quick disconnect
• Manual function for welding bars Open/Close
• Intuitive diagnostic alarms and maintenance screens
Wrap Cycle
1. The load passes through the pre-sealed film web pulling the tension controlled film from the film carriages.
2. Once the load has cleared the wrap zone, the welding bars close and the film is further tightened on the load. The two faces of the film are sealed together enclosing the load and then trimmed to leave a new web for the next load.
3. The wrapped load leaves the wrap zone.

Packaging Systems Goes Green with Energy Saving Industrial Lighting
Packaging Systems is proud to be partnered with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of lamps that include a wide range of incandescent, halogen, fluorescent and high-intensity discharge products.
SLI is a global supplier of lighting products with operations in Europe, North, South and Central America, Africa and Asia. They design, manufacture and market a diverse range of lamps and lighting fixtures for architectural, industrial, commercial, residential and outdoor applications.
SLI LIGHTING EXPANDS COMPACT FLUORESCENT LINE
Four new compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) have been added to SLi Lighting's range of products designed to replace incandescent lamps in existing installations. The 11- and 15-watt CFL globe replaces popular 40- and 60-watt incandescent globes in both residential and commercial applications.
The new CFL reflector models include a 15-watt R30 size allowing an energysaving retrofit of 65BR incandescent reflectors, and a 20-watt R40 version is designed to replace higher wattage incandescent reflectors.
Four wattages of SLi Lighting's growing CFL family have been redesigned to better serve as direct replacements for standard A19 incandescent lights. The redesign includes smaller lamp dimensions to fit into a greater number of A19 incandescent applications. These new designs are available in three colors: 2700K (Soft White), 4100K (Cool White) and 5000K (Daylight). These products are UL-approved and Energy Star certified.
